About Us

About Us

We are a Trans home home repair 501(c)3 nonprofit built by tradespeople with over 20 years of experience across construction, repairs, painting, and design. Started by Sam (she/they) and Nicky (they/them) in the beginning of 2026.

After years of working within systems where decision-makers were removed from the labor itself, and with the continued targeted violence that Trans people face, we created T4T Repairs Inc to center skill, accountability, community, and respect—for both workers and clients.

Our Values

We are pro Black, Palestine, Sudan, Congo, Iran, Indigenous and collective liberation. The Trans struggle does not exist in a vaccum and by working to support our community, we know we cannot do this without lifting up the communities around us.

Trans folks are under attack. This isn’t new in this country, especially for Indigenous, Black and Brown folks. Our struggles are deeply interconnected.

Building something different is not easy, nor will we be doing it perfectly, but we went to invest in our kin, in their futures, and into the next seven generations. Being in community is a reciprocal act that takes an exchange of emotional, mental, and physical labor and the work to push back against individualism. This is the kind of work you do at all stages in life; in joy, in grief, in abundance, and in lack. Resources are a shared value vs an extractive commodity. This directly opposes white supremacy culture and capitalism. To build something within it structures while using different tools will take a lot of vulnerability, communication, repair, and self reflection. It takes an investment in ourselves and each other.

This is the foundation we are building T4T Repairs Inc on. We are applying for our 501(c)3 non-profit status in coming weeks and want to focus on workforce development for trans and gender non-conforming folks while continuing to provide reasonable priced carpentry, repair, design, demo, and general handy they work.

Our Goals

We have applied for 501c3 non-profit status, so that we can create safe workforce development for other trans and gender non-conforming folks in the trades. Many states either have or continually push laws and policies that discrimate against transgender and gender non-confirming (TGNC) individuals in the workplace. The world is not made for us and we are working to create the proper space we deserve.
